Why This Message Appears
The message “Your account is not recognized” is most often caused by entering an incorrect username.
How to Resolve
- Verify that your username is entered correctly
- Ensure you are using the correct username format
If you are unsure of your username, refer to the Find Your HACC Username or ID article.
Important Distinction
If your password were incorrect, you would instead see an error such as “Invalid Credentials.”
Students: Recently Activated Accounts
If you recently activated or claimed your account, it may take up to 30 minutes before you can successfully log in to MyHACC.
