Microsoft Office 365 - Students

Overview

HACC offers Office 365 for all Students. The following applications are included in the Office 365 package: 

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint & Microsoft Access (PC Users Only)

These applications are a part of the Office 365 package and are FREE for HACC Students through HACC on the Hub.

Features

The following applications are included in the Office 365 package:

Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel- These tools let you create text documents and spreadsheets using conventional Microsoft Office interfaces. There are some cloud components like sharing, but you can also download the programs onto your computer like traditional Microsoft Office software.

Microsoft Powerpoint-You can create slideshows using images and text, set up timed transitions, and more.

Microsoft Access (PC Users Only)- Easy-to-use tool for creating business applications, from templates or from scratch. With its rich and intuitive design tools, Access can help you create appealing and highly functional applications in a minimal amount of time. Please note that this is not able to be installed on Apple devices.

Getting Started

To get Microsoft Office 365 for the first time:

1. Go to HACC on the Hub.
2. You will be redirected to the myHACC portal login page.
3. Log in with your HACC ID and password.
4. Click Start Shopping.
5. Select Office 365 ProPlus, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout.
6. Follow the prompts to access Office 365 online or download it to your device.


To renew Microsoft Office 365:

1. Log in to HACC on the Hub webstore using your HACC ID and password.
2. Click Start Shopping.
3. Select Office 365 ProPlus, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout.
4. Follow the prompts to log in to the Office 365 portal using your @myhawks.onmicrosoft.com (not your @hawkmail.hacc.edu email).

Once you have successfully logged in, your subscription should automatically renew.

If you do not remember your Office 365 password, contact the IT Support Center at 717-780-2570 for assistance.


Activation Note:

Some users may see an Activate prompt within an Office application. If this occurs:

* Click Activate
* Sign in using your @myhawks.onmicrosoft.com account (not your @hawkmail.hacc.edu email).

You do not need to reinstall the software. You may need to restart your computer or reopen the applications for activation to complete.
