Steps on how to clear browser cache in Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers:
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge and click the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- In the left sidebar, click Privacy, search, and services.
- Under the Clear browsing data section, click Choose what to clear.
- In the pop-up, select Cached images and files. You can also choose other data to clear if needed.
- Click Clear now.
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome and click the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down and click Privacy and security.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Under the Basic tab, check Cached images and files. (You can switch to the Advanced tab to select additional data types if needed.)
- Choose a time range (e.g., All time) from the dropdown if necessary.
- Click Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox and click the three horizontal lines (menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- In the left sidebar, click Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to the Cookies and Site Data section.
- Click Clear Data.
- Ensure Cached Web Content is selected (you can also select Cookies and Site Data if you wish).
- Click Clear and confirm when prompted.
