Office 365 - Licensing and Login Tips
All students have 5 licenses. If you have 5 licenses in play and you wish to add Office 365 to an additional device, you must deactivate Office 365 on one of the other devices listed in your Office 365 web portal.
The Office 365 portal has several associated login URLs including https://login.microsoftonline.com AND https://portal.office.com
Login by using either this format: Firstname.Lastname@myhawks.onmicrosoft.com OR
your myHACC login combined with @myhawks.onmicrosoft.com (Ex: abc12345@myhawks.onmicrosoft.com)
Note: Unless you have used the HACC Virtual Desktop Environment (VDI), the password to this site is will not be your myHACC login password. If you do not remember your Office 365 password, Select Forgot Password to start the process of resetting this password.
After logging into Office 365 successfully, in the settings you will see information on the devices currently using a license associated with your account. You can disable Office 365 from the devices you choose. Once you download and login to the new device, login to any of the Office apps on the device you wish to add to your license list and it will appear automatically next time you login online.
