Steps to Take When Remote HACC AOVPN User Encounters Error 87 " The Parameter is Incorrect"

  1. In Windows, launch Windows Command Prompt as Administrator
  2. Enter the following commands into Elevated CMD.
  3. "netsh int ip reset" "netsh int ipv6 reset" "netsh winsock reset”
  4. Launch Windows Device Manager
  5. Expand the Network Adaptors section
  6. Right-click on the WAN Miniport (IKEv2) item
  7. Select Uninstall device from the context menu
  8. Repeat steps 6-7 for all WAN Miniport (...) items
  9. Uninstall the HACC AOVPN
  10. Restart your computer, then reinstall the AOVPN (Configuring Certs)
  11. Try to reconnect to the HACC AOVPN
