How to Change Display Settings on Windows 11

Note: These screenshots were taken and directions created based off of the setup of a laptop connected to a dock and two monitors. The screenshots also show the monitors in settings in Extended format. Your screen may not look exactly the same, but the options are still the same.

  1.  Right click in any open space on the desktop and a menu should appear. Click on Display settingsUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

2. Display settings will open up and you should see more than 1 display in this top box. If you do not see more than 1 display here, check that all of your monitor and dock cables are plugged in and receiving power.
