How to connect your laptop to your home Wi-Fi network on Windows 11
1. Turn on your laptop. Your logon screen should look like this:

2. Click on the Wi-Fi symbol in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. (Note: This symbol will look like an empty globe if you are not currently connected to another network.)

3. Find the name of your home’s Wi-Fi network (HACCwifi is used in this example, but yours will be different.) Check the “Connect Automatically” button if you would like this network to connect on its own when close-by.

4. Enter your home network’s credentials. If you are unsure of your router’s password, it may be on the bottom of the device (Alternatively, you may be able go to a browser using a different device and logon to your router to see the password. Most routers can be found by typing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into your URL bar, and if you have never changed the credentials, they are usually – Username: admin or Admin – Password: admin or Admin).

5. Once connected, you can logon to your laptop with your HACC credentials.
