Brightspace (D2L) Issues in Safari

Brightspace supports Safari, but Safari privacy settings may sometimes prevent pages or content from loading correctly.

If Brightspace does not load properly in Safari:

Option 1: Try Another Browser

Try accessing D2L using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.

Option 2: Change Safari Privacy Settings

On a Mac:

  1. Open Safari > Settings > Privacy.
  2. Disable Prevent cross-site tracking.
  3. Disable Hide IP address from trackers.
  4. Reload D2L and try again.

On an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open Settings > Apps > Safari.
  2. Under Privacy & Security, disable Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
  3. Set Hide IP Address to Off.
  4. Return to Safari and try D2L again.

These Safari privacy features can interfere with D2L or third-party services used within Brightspace. If you prefer not to disable these settings, use another supported web browser.
